The second installment of our Venue Series is featuring the beautiful Four Seasons Luxury and Resort at Walt Disney World. If you didn’t catch part 1, you can do so here.

The Get Lit Venue Series is aimed at highlighting some of the most popular and busy venues that we’ve done reoccurring and extensive lighting work at. These are places that are very frequently booked out for birthdays, corporate events, and of course—weddings. Having done MANY of these events, it never ceases to amaze us how many times we’ve visited the same spaces and seen them dressed up in a diverse variety of ways.

Likewise, we strive to make the event lighting at your occasion unique as well. If we did the same thing every time, it just wouldn’t be fun for us!

The Four Seasons Resort at Walt Disney World

This 5 Star Hotel and Luxury Resort is no stranger to good reviews and great memories. The sheer number of amenities in the resort are staggering. Smack dab in the middle of the Disney Empire, one can’t help but feel surrounded by boundless fun and vacation vibes.

Being asked to offer lighting services here is having our work cut out for us—but we always rise to the challenge.

If you’ve never been, let us tell you. You will find all manner of environments in this enormous resort. From the King Meadow Lawn to the Grand Ballroom. There are several lawns and interior rooms to choose from depending on what type of atmosphere you want to evoke for your special moment.

Four Seasons Grand Ballroom Event Lighting

If you can’t tell, this is the Grand Ballroom. It certainly lives up to its name with its elegant, honeycombed ceiling that houses several extravagant chandeliers. The beauty of the moment isn’t tricking your eyes, they are in fact appearing to be dancing on a cloud and you can too! We don’t just provide lighting services to our patrons, we also offer technical solutions for things such as indoor sparklers for entrances, and utilizing dry ice to create a memorable first dance for the soon to be Mr. and Ms.

The next picture is a great example of what a combination of our lighting services can look like.

What you’re seeing is uplighting for the borders of the room for ambiance. Then, our patron asked for textured lighting to be on the walls to create a breathtaking scene—we obliged. There are also pin spots throughout the room to accentuate important details.

Four Seasons Palm Ballroom Event Lighting

This is a picture of an event that had a garden theme that truly suited the Palm Ballroom—aptly named for those etchings on the floor.

Do you consider yourself a Floridian through and through? The Palm Ballroom is sure to not let you down. Contrast the atmosphere here in comparison to the Grand Ballroom. The Grand Ballroom is very ritzy, and the Palm has a much more relaxed atmosphere of merriment. Both are fantastic, it’s all about preference!

As such though, we took note of the differences and changed our approach here. The Palm Ballroom during this event has a kind of tropical cabana feel, and so we wanted the lighting to match that as well with a series of string lights forming a canopy up above. The result is unmistakably beautiful.
